Justice for Jerusalem Actions
Take Action to Stop the Demolition of Homes for the King's Garden Park
The Jerusalem municipality and mayor want to create a biblically themed park, inspired by scriptural references, in the Al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan, East Jerusalem. Carrying out this plan would entail demolishing approximately 22 to 56 Palestinian houses and displacing dozens of people.
Join us in taking action to stop these demolitions.

Tell the JNF: No More Evictions in East Jerusalem
Over the last two decades the Jewish National Fund in Israel (KKL-JNF) has been amassing property seized from Palestinians in East Jerusalem, evicting families, and turning the property over to a settler organization with the express goal of Judaizing Palestinian neighborhoods. These evictions place facts on the ground that are roadblocks to peace. In November, we won a small victory when KKL-JNF halted the eviction of one family from East Jerusalem after public pressure from T'ruah, our supporters, and activists in Israel.
Join us in asking the Jewish National Fund to issue a public statement that they will no longer engage in evictions, either directly or through subsidiary organizations.
Bedouin Rights Actions
Stop JNF from Foresting over Bedouin Villages
The Jewish National Fund in Israel (KKL-JNF) is going back on its word and foresting land still under legal dispute in the Bedouin village of Al-Arakib. Residents of Al-Arakib, located just a few miles northeast of Be'er Sheva, have documents and other evidence of their traditional rights to their land dating to the times of the Ottoman Empire and the British Mandate, prior to the establishment of the state of Israel. Yet the Israeli government refuses to recognize their land claims and has demolished the village dozens of times in the last year and a half, all to make way for Jewish National Fund forests. The government remains embroiled in protracted legal disputes with the residents about their ownership of the land. Write to Efi Stenzler, JNF's World Chairman, and Russell Robinson, CEO of JNF-USA, to ask them to stop KKL-JNF's forestation on the remains of demolished Bedouin villages and disputed Bedouin land.
